Hi Mark,

Great post, well thought out and very informative.
I hope to get my Tyros 4 very shortly and will find your information invaluable.
I did have a PSR 8000 but never got around to 'doing my own thing', so to speak. I relied on the inbuilt styles and voices.
As I cannot read music, plus I'm an 'old timer', this certainly will re-new my enthusiasm to use the sequencer and editor on the T4.
Keep up the good work as there are many, many others like me, who just want to play good music.
Regards,
John PS: I liked your version of 'And I Love Her'

Congratulations on T4. Yes it is a great instrument. I got a T3 bout 1 1/2 years ago and updated to a T4 5 months ago. I'm still learning things about them.

I to am an old timer also (63). Most Tyros owners are not kids. Have fun, (thanx for compliment).

Ah yes - very well played, indeedy!

Very much like listening to a professional tune on the radio, while driving into the sunset - real dreamy!

A ton of different instruments, here - and a real nice beat, too - musta taken ages to put it all together, but it was worth it !

One thing bothers me, tho - how come you guys got so much time on yr hands to make such an impressive song?
The days just flash by fr me - and I don't seem ta get even half the stuff I'd like to do, done!

One of the big mysteries of life, I guess....

Anyways, my ears were real chuffed to hear this one - good on ya!

'Afraid my brain couldn't follow all the techy stuff, tho, too high for moi!

Thanx

The Scooter

Thanks for the complement. Yes I do spend quite a bit of time on some songs. I work on them, and then listen another day. I will make changes, delete, add parts etc.

It requires patience, (this is about the only thing I have patience for these days). I don't mind spending the time. All the ideas I try, may not be used, but they are teaching me something,
