Hi All,
I am a new member, just finding my way around the site at present.
Info about me: Music lessons at age 5, Learnt to play Piano, Taught myself to play guitar at age 12, Now mainly play by ear, Professional playing in group for 10 years, Now producing music for my own pleasure. Mainly make backing tracks on my tyros keyboard and play lead on my guitars. Own recording studio, and help local budding musicians.

Hello Folks,

This is one of my favorites. Recorded on T1 using the Orch Big Band 1 style. I added 7 tracks and modified the style tracks. What I really like about the tune is the chord structure, as is the case with most of Porter's songs. Antway hope you enjoy

Earthquake in England

With all the news on TV lately about the extreme weather conditions affecting the East coast of the US , the mud slides in the Middle East and South America, along with the dire predictions made by such films as The Day After Tomorrow, we shouldn't forget that Britain has its share of devastation too.

I've attached a photo illustrating the damage caused to a friend's home from the earthquake that hit Lincolnshire the other night.

I just hope they can get things back to normal very quickly. It would be awful to have to endure these conditions for too long.

It really makes you cherish what you have, and reminds us not to take things for granted.

This is the sort of thing that happens to other people, but it could so easily have been you or me.

Thanks for visiting the official site blog for The Lone Arrangers Keyboard Forum.

If you haven't registered at the site yet, then this is a quick and painless exercise, and will only take a couple of minutes to complete.

Whatever your musical interests, whether you are an ex-pro player, home player, keyboard player vocalist or someone who enjoys dabbling in sequencing/multitrack recording, then you'll definitely find something of interest on the site.

Many of the talented members of the forum regularly upload midi files of cover songs and original compositions, and there are some great discussions on how the music is put together.

Most of the membership are Yamaha keyboard players, but we are open to players of all manufacturers' keyboards.

Help with sequencing, Cubase, Sonar, XGWorks etc., is often sought, so if you are experienced in this field, we'd love to have you onboard.

There are no particularly heavy rules, as, in general, we prefer to self-moderate our posts. Guest access is restricted to certain forums, so it's definitely beneficial to register with the site, so you get the full benefits.

Many of the site decisions will be put to vote, so we can hopefully cater for the majority, and there are quite a few new features in the pipeline.

I look forward to you becoming a regular member of The Lone Arrangers Keyboard Forum!
