Default Music Pad Pro - 12-01-2009, 10:29 AM

I'd like to know if anybody has bought a Music Pad Pro, I purchased one from a reputable dealer on E-bay, was over £100 cheaper than Dolphin music or Sight Read Ltd, Had a bit of a job calibrating it, but persevered and it payed off, I have a small problem, getting it tu turn the pages, have got a footswitch, but if I use that or knock the screen as suggested, it just reverts back to the menu any ideas?...Pam

Hello Pamela,
I have recently joined this site and noticed your post. I also have a Musicpad Pro with software version 4.010.13 and it is the 2nd version of MPP. I bought a Boss FS-6 dual pedal to work with it. This add on requires a pp3 battery and I often forget to switch it off therefore flattening the battery and I have now found it easier to tap the MPP screen. It depends on how far away the Music stand is from your playing hand as to which method is best. However the add on did work. One pedal was set to send the screen forward and the other set to send the screen backward. My brain also got confused with all the different pedals on the floor. The 2nd model is backward compatible with previous MPP files but the 1st model is NOT forward compatible. We could swap files if we have compatible MPPs. I see that you live in Burnham. If that is the Essex one then perhaps we could get together and swop ideas & files, if it is the Norfolk one then we could get together by Email.
Cheers
Carol
