Default hello guys and gals - 13-02-2010, 10:59 PM

I am on my fourth Yamaha keyboard in 23 years of entertaining seniors in assisted living and retirement homes.

I play by ear and use fingered chords and simple melody in the right hand.

I am 75 and having the time of my life! I also tell a few clean jokes as part of my program. I know the folks are out of the main stream and don't hear good jokes now.

I have 2 regular gigs a month and pick up others as time allows.

I have a Yamaha Psr-S710 and since I don't sing, I didn't need the vocal harmonizer!

I sure do like the USB memory stick, as opposed to the floppies! Thanks for listening!

Hi Keith.

Welcome to the forum !

Sounds like you are having fun,...there's nothing like playing a live gig to keep the adrenaline going . Like a few of us here, who have played in groups and bands in our younger days, having an "audience" is the one thing we all miss .

It would be nice to hear some of your work

Regards
Gordon
