Default MIc settings for Tyros3 - 12-05-2009, 09:41 PM

HI Everyone,
This is my 1st post. I have just got a Tyros3 and have loaded all my midi files from my old 9000pro which has died. I have managed to change voices and individual channel settings OK but my problem is I am unable to save the mic settings for each song. When the song is loaded in Song Creator in the Channel window with SETUP selected, I bring up the control panel and set the mic volume to say 70. I then execute and save it but when playing the song it reverts back to it's original volume of 40 which was set on the 9000pro. Can anyone help me with storing Mic settings (DSP, Harmony on/off, volume) to individual midi songs
Thanks in hope
Dexy

Hi Dexy
Firstly welcome to the forum
Have you tried altering the volume in the Mixing Console then selecting Song Creator/channel/execute/save
Cheers
Spike

Hi Spike, thanks for the swift reply and the welcome note, much appreciated. I had tried what you suggested to no avail and then last night I realised that in the channel setup screen I needed to put a tick against the mic settings box before I saved. The Tyros 3 is an amazing keyboard but I'm still getting to grips with what has changed from my 9000pro.
Once again thank you Spike
Cheers
Dave

Sorry Dave, I did think about that after I'd written the post and then thought 'Oh well you'd know that anyway' so promptly forgot about editing my post.
Glad you got it sorted and I'm pleased I was able to help you
Cheers
Spike

Yes Dave the area you are posting in is fine. If you go to the 'home' page the various headings of the catagories are fairly well explained but if you have any queries just ask.
Cheers
Spike
