Hi Guys,

Well after finding this site, i thought it a good idea to join. You all seem a friendly group.

I am 37 years old, been playing since i was 6 and currently have Wersi Abacus Duo Deluxe, Tyros 3 and software driven bits and bobs on my apple mac. I have always been involved in keyboards in one way or another.
Many moons ago I used to write for the Keyboard Times magazine, reviewing new keyboards etc which was great fun and Trevor Daniels (brother of Paul) was the owner and a real gentleman. Sadly that closed and there has never been another magazine like it since.
Now i play for 100% pleasure and enjoy every minute of it. I do run my own keyboard website Jazzhooves.com | Organ & Keyboard Website which keeps my hand in, and busy organising a concert with Roland and Tony Fenelon.
I like doing things and am never bored - there is so much to do in life and so little time to do it in.
In addition to all of this I run my own commercial printing business by day and Tyros 3 software venture, regitech.
For those of you who would like to say hello, please drop me a PM.
Meantime I hope to add a little something to this site and make some friends.
Hello from Leigh!

Hi Leigh and Welcome, I hope you can liven things up a bit, as I think that poor Paul and Spike are struggling,, It's very offputting when you upload a song and not to get any recognition, Torben used to upload music here and I think he's given up for the same reason, In my opinion if someone listens to your music you should at least respond, just my two pennyworth...Pam

Hi Pam.
I suppose it depends on how many members there are. Other Yamaha forums as too clicky and negative and this is the reason why i looked to see if there were any others. I agree it is nice to have a site where people can share music, ideas and have a laugh at the same time - the whole Sheriff theme is great - very funny.
Are you the pam who uses the YPKO forum?

Hi Leigh

A warm welcome to the forum. I look forward to finding the time to listen to some of your uploads, as I know the Wersi has some terrific sounds.

All the best

Paul
