Hi People

I stumbled across this site pretty much by accident, but it looks really interesting. I'm a 50 year old guy living in the English midlands who enjoys knocking up pieces of music for my own enjoyment (and my family's annoyance!). I guess I consider myself primarily a guitarist but have also played keyboards for a few years. I used to play in gigging bands but gave this up to further career over 20 years ago. I use a Motif XS7, Roland Fantom and an old (but much loved) Roland Juno 60.

I have posted a few tunes online at a Myspace page and on Soundclick but I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post links on this group. I don't want to get banned when I've only just joined. If I am allowed (and if anybody's remotely interested) let me know and I'll post the links.

I'm not hugely prolific but I'll be around now and then.

All the best

Paul

Hi Paul
Thanks for introducing yourself. By all means post the links, perhaps one at a time for the moment, tell us in your post how you recorded them, what keyboard etc and whether you'd welcome any comments from members. Your links should preferably be to a hosted Mp3's with an attachment to the post of a midi file. If the way you produce the song doesn't include a midi then please upload a 'blank' midi so that the song is still registered under your profile. You can see from other posts how it is done but if you have any difficulty just shout - we're here to help.
Feel free to download/listen to other members songs , most are grateful for other members comments on them.
Looking forward to hearing some of your work
Cheers
Spike

Hi Paul,

A big welcome from me also. As Spike says, if you need any help you just need to shout.

Sounds like you've taken a similar musical path to many of us here.

We cater for all musical tastes here, so please feel free to share your music with us.

Best regards,

Paul
