Yes, I have modified the music stand mounting on both Tyros1 and Tyros 4. I have manufactured arms on which I fit a non Yamaha (home made) music stand. Making the arms longer or shorter enable customization to accomodate your personal focal distance. I can provide pictures (jpg) and if needed, I could produce manufacturing drawings. This is doable with a few materials, a hack saw and a hand drill. Let me know if you are interested in making these REVERSIBLE modifications to your keyboard's music stand mounting.

Forgive me if I have got hold of the wrong person, but are you the kind gentleman who said you could advise me how to bring the music stand on the Tyros closer? I read the post earlier today, then couldn't work out how to find my way back to my page, sorry if this is sounding as though I don't know what I'm doing!! The truth is I am still trying to find my way around. Hope you have a great day!
