Hi Gordon,

I have played around a bit by reading the manual but if I had found your tutorial before I would have benefited much more, yet still I found it to be very clear and easy to understand and it gave me another reason to try multi recording again.

Thanks a bunch mate.

Cheers,
Derya

Thanks Spike for confirming the compatability, I suspected that was the case, but wasn't sure !!!

Hi Derya.
Thanks for your comments, and I would be interested to get some feedback from you when you have tried your multi-tracking again, in case you feel there is anyway I could improve ,or simplify the tutorial ?

Cheers for now
Gordon

Hi Gordon,

I just saved your doc file on my disk and did a little revision slightly to make it easy for me to follow. After I print it out I will try a little multi tracking tonight and get back to you on if any adjustments maybe needed.

I may even submit a multi track midi latter for all to judge for themselves if this tutorial has been well followed.

Cheers,
Derya

Hi Derya.

That would be fantastic,.............just the feedback I need.

I am compiling the next steps at the moment ( panning / editing etc) and I am trying several ways of getting some illustrations to go with it.

Look forward to the verdict

Kind Regards
Gordon

Actually, I haven't read any of the course yet, although I do fully intend to check it out somewhere down the line.

I just wanted to say that I love the title Gordon. It makes me feel like, "Aha! Finally, ... a course that I am both, ... eligible and well qualified to take!" I think it was the dummy thing that got me!

Hi Leo,

Being the resident multi-pad expert, do you know of any 3rd party m/p's featuring drum/percussion patterns that would work on a T2?

I notice the existing ones only work in 4/4 time, and I also wondered if you knew of a way to convert a m/p into say 6/8 for instance?

Although there's already a good selection on the T2, you know what it's like, you can never have too much!

Cheers

Paul

Paul,
The only one I know who 'makes up" M-Pads is Eileen...I dont think rhere are any professional Pads around.
2nd question....I pretty sure you cannot change the timing of Pads as the are made up by playing them in, in real time
Sorry to be so negative.
Leo

Hi Leo,

No worries. Thanks for taking a look though. I wonder if it's easier to do this sort of thing on a workstation, such as the Motif, maybe playing around with the Arps in a sequencer. Anything with drums, I just prefer ready-made!

All the best!

Paul
