Default Midi editor? - 30-03-2011, 05:38 PM

I have found some interesting midi files, and have been trying to make them look proper in my Tyros 3 screen.

Ultimately I would like to see the melody and chords while playing them. Two problems that occured was that they didn't show chords, and the Tyros choosed to show two other channels than the melody for left and right hand.

Could you recommend any software where I could edit the midi file by selecting the wanted channels and automatically calculate the chords and add them to the file as well? In the best of worlds the program would show me the result of my actions so I know when I got it about right before moving it to the Tyros.

Unfortunately I never got any CD with my Tyros when I bought it second hand, perhaps I could find a utility like this from there?
