Default Registrations "Loud" - all of them! - 17-04-2011, 03:48 PM

Hi Guys!

It's me again - come ta haunt y'all fr a while with more danged dumbass questions - heh heh!

I'm getting started with "Registrations" (yeah, right on!) and I've installed various sets of registrations - no sweat there and things go according ta plan - well, almost!

At the moment I'm only "trying" things out - and meeting some nice sounds along the way, too!

These Registrations I'm installing are "only" voices - the idea being that I can switch from OTS voices to a Registration voice. In other words, I got up ta 12 voices ta choose from when I plays my little ditty - real dandy, ain't it!

A coupla things - ALL the Registrations I install're friggin' louder than loud - man, nearly blew my ears out a couple times!

Any way I can permanently turn down the volume for ALL of the 8 Registration buttons - in one go?

I'm a-wonderin', too, are there extra banks of voices in the Registration area that I can't see/hear? I ain't too keen on messin' around with the Memory Bank buttons, yet - as I ain't too clear what they used fr (apart from Freeze, that is). Maybe when I install Registrations from a file, I'm installin' a few/many sets of banks - t'be honest, I ain't got a clue...

It's like this - I got 8 buttons I know about, which is "one set of banks" - but I can maybe quickly access other "sets of banks"? If ya understand my question - darn it, ain't sure I understand it, myself!

Anyways, any help or ideas ya can give would be appreciated - and if ya need a better explanation, then let me sleep on it first - my chicken brain's just about given' up fr t'day!

Take care, y'all

The Scooter

Hi Scooter
When you save a voice to a registration you are effectively saving all parameters too, style settings, multipads, tempo etc. So before pressing 'memory' and saving the registration to a particular bank and button make sure the volume is set to your requirement. Press the 'balance button and adjust everything to suit then save by pressing 'memory and the registration button as normal.
You can't alter all the volumes at once, so with the ones you have already saved to a registration select each in turn and adjust the volume

Thumbs up Re: Registrations "Loud" - all of them! - 19-04-2011, 04:34 AM

Hiya Spike!

And thanx a bunch fr yr explanations about fixin' them Registrations!

I sorta guessed that I'd have to fix each one maually - ain't no big deal and if that's the only way, then that's the only way!

Tried fixin' the first loud puppy - took a while 'fore I understood what ya was referrin' to, but then I soon got the hang'a things.
Hell - now my ears're reasonably happy with the sounds - and I ain't gettin' deafened no more and can even hear what the wife says, once again!

Great stuff, Mr. S and I sure appreciate yr advice!

Oh yeh - guess there ain't "extra" sets of banks in the files I downloaded and installed - one file is always equal to 8 banks. My other KB got 4 sets of 8 memory banks ta play around with, though personally never used more'n 6 or so banks.

Cheers

Your statement of 'one file is always equal to 8 banks' is incorrect
Each bank can contain up to 8 registrations (they don't have to be the same song but it can lead to confusion and mistakes if it isn't)
You can store as many banks as your internal memory will hold.
You can also store them in a USB memory stick
There are preset banks too.
Trust this clarifies it
Cheers
