This is fascinating - it's worth watching all the technical demo until the end just to see the robots play music.

Hi Spike,

I saw the video. It was interesting. The robots were self contained, too. I thought that you were referring to animusic, but it was more than that.

What is their power source? Do they charge themselves when the batteries are weak? Just a thought, wondering how complex these units are.

Hi Pat
They're battery driven at the moment but could be solar powered I suppose.
They are controlled by on-board processors and can communicate with each other. There are some very clever people about.

Blimey
I am glad that I do not have to go programming any more. I wouldn't survive.
Some incredible applications for those coming up!

I hadn't realised robotics had come this far! There was a terrific program on a few weeks/months back telling the story of robotics, and what we had to date. No mention of this gem of a machine as I suppose it's so new.

I thought the formation flying was awesome, as well as the single one negotiating the hoops and obstacles!

3 days to get them to play the James Bond theme! Seriously clever guys!

I'm off to watch this again.

Cheers

Paul
