Indeed, opinion seem very divided over the Genos.

Touch screen welcomed by some - as Yamaha seem to have been late to the game compared to the other Majors . . .

Dear Jack Bruce, probably best remembered as Bassist/Vocalist of "Cream" sadly passed away in October last year . . . .

I always liked this song from his first solo album "Songs for a Taylor"...

You are meaning "A Garage Band" - perhaps like Frank Zappa was suggesting with his "Joe's Garage"...

I agree.

Built-in speakers although increasingly good - are always a compromise.

Powered speakers are definitely to be recommended and are ideally suited to home studio setups.

Not wanting to muddy the waters, but, Certainly with Yamaha boards, the actual voices are held in ROM . . . and as such DO NOT disappear despite the internal battery going...

More Choir voices - love it.

Nice use of inversions in there amongst the harmony.

Inspired use of the Harp arpeggios - fits very well.

Oboe? solo contrasts well.

and undeniably, a Vangelis thing going on there. I particularly like the hypnotic rhythmic figure that keeps the whole thing moving along.
