Default Moulin Rouge - 30-01-2011, 03:52 PM

Hi all, I cant vouch for the spelling of this one but it's a nice melody....perhaps a bit long....and I don't think I have uploaded it previously

Hi Leo
Very nice 'French' flavour to it - but isn't it called La Vie en Rose? (I could be mistaken)
Like your voicing, it fits the song well.
Cheers
Spike

Hi Leo

Good to hear you back behind the keyboard again.
A lovely laid back version of this old classic French tune.
Maybe goes on a couple of verses too long but you've kept it interesting with the varied voices. The accordion give it a certain je ne sais quoi.

Yeah, the spellings definitely gone.

I thought I was going to listen to your version of the old Mantovani theme from the fifties movie Moulin Rouge but as Spike has said, this is La Vie En Rose , made famous by Edith Piaf.

Regards

Will
