Aislineach

Hi Folks
Here's another of James Tubbrits (Irish Acts) compositions recorded on the Motif XS6.
Started with a clean sheet and multi-tracked the lot with some step recording too. Transposing parts of tracks is a doddle on this keyboard, so is the making of the violin and drum rolls. Mixing was done on the fly during conversion to .wav
Just another experiment in the capabilities of the Motif - would be grateful for any comments/observations/suggestions.

Hi Spike,
I don't know this piece but enjoyed it lots....if I had a suggestion it would be to lower the volume of the muted guit. in the middle of the piece otherwise a fine piece of music .

Loved this one Spike

A short but very sweet piece of music.
Immediately got the feeling of early JMJ Vangelis stuff with those fantastic synth sounds. Will need to search out some of James' work, can see why you're impressed with it.

Another great piece of work Spike and once again, all the work has paid off.

Re: Aislineach

Thanks Romeo - yes the Motif has some fantastic sounds and is easier to multi-track than the arranger keyboards. There will be more

Hi Will
Many thanks for listening to it, the original is pretty short too. You can download the CD of James stuff for free from the Irish Acts website, I think the CD is called Leanbh Mo Chroi - some nice songs on it but probably too difficult for me until I've mastered this Motif. I believe he used a Motif to record them. Unfortunately for me it does take a couple of days to make.
Cheers Will

Spike

I like it a lot - think you did a great job of putting it together. I thought it flowed pretty well and came together real nice.
