Default Concierto de Aranjuez - 08-07-2008, 09:37 PM

Joaquin Rodrigo compossed this beautiful Spanish Concerto and I tried to keep in memory the best part of it.
Don't know if I succeeded, . . . .you are the judges my dear friends.
The Flamenco Guitar sounds a bit opaque on the MP3, but not on the MIDI file.
Hope you like it.

Hello Julio
This is beautiful music, you wouldn't think it has been played on a keyboard - a big wow factor. I think I have a lot to learn from listening to you guys play.
All the best
Ewan

Julio,

When I go to listen to any of your renderings, I know beforehand that I am in for a special treat. I have heard enough of them to know this to be true.

I don't know if I'd go so far as to say this is your best ever, because with all the beautiful songs you shared with us over the years I'd be hard-pressed to choose the "best".

I have to say though, ... if it isn't the best it sure ranks among the top 5. As always, excellent all the way around, and very professional. Kudos to you my friend, and thank you.

Maestro Julio,

Believe I've heard this song in a movie before, but never knew its title. Beautiful strings and guitar. Another masterpiece from the Master. Very well done.

Hi Julio.

Curious if that was a custom type style, or if you multi-tracked the intro etc?

However you did it, I'm going to go out on a limb and say that "THIS IS" in My oppinion, your best composition to date

Here's the thing,......apart from the emotional phrasing that you manage to convey in your work,...what struck Me about this one, was the realistic flamenco style of guitar playing you re-produced,.....those little clusters of notes sounded just like the fingernail plucking style so unique to the Spanish players.

A couple of the chord progressions sounded a little "Varied" from what I remembered, but it came together perfectly.

This is one you can be proud of My friend !!!

Kind Regards
Gordon
