Default Theme from Bell Book and Candle 1958 movie - 18-10-2013, 03:24 AM

Hello all, this is my first post and it is my cover of the theme tune from the film Bell Book and Candle which is one of my favourite movies. I couldn't find any sheet music so had to manage without it, however I find that to be not too difficult once I get started. This theme tune gave me the chance to use the "bongo" voice on my keyboard quite a lot!

Hi David
Welcome to the forum.
Interesting song, was it done in one take or did you multi-track it?
You put it together well whichever method you used - well done
Cheers
Spike

Hi Spike
I would need to be an octopus to record this in one take! I am using a multitrack recorder, recording in the following sequence IIRC:

pizzicato strings
bass
strings
bongos
bells
clarinet
brass
harp (right at the end)

I used the metronome, which I later removed, to keep time. Then I mixed the 8 tracks down to Audacity and converted it to MP3.

Thanks for deleting my duplicate file btw.
