Hi Spike
Thanks for sharing your secrets .. i thought a foot must have been used somewhere or other .. i might invest in a foot pedal to add bends to my music.

Hi Andy
If you are thinking of a pedal the FC7 is the one you'll want as it can be assigned to all sorts of "variable " functions
Cheers

Hi Spike.
Smashing little peformance I thought .
All the ingrediants for a good old sing along ( would have liked to have heard some bones in there for fun ) ...or a kazoo perhaps
Anyhow, nice tight performance, .........and for a quick record, a pretty darn good trombone improv as well !!
Kind Regards
Gordon

Hi Gordon
Glad you liked it mate. Mmmmm.. the bones? I see where you're coming from, it's that sort of tune. If Yamahas were made in the NW of England one of the voices would surely have been the Spoons
Thanks for your great comments
Cheers

Not a kind of music I can play because I don't have that excellent kind of talent, and you do have it.
Hey old fox, . . . . you know what? . . . this is great stuff, man.
Better say it, . . . ! ! This is a great production ! !
Woooww Mister, you plays and plays.
A tremendous rendition Spike, . . . really tremendous.
Thanks a million for your music.
Regards.
Julio.-

Hi Julio
I don't agree with you regarding your talents, your "speciality" is playing the guitar on the keyboard and making it sound like a guitar. Even I as an ex-guitarist cannot do this my friend, no matter how much I try.
Thank you for your generous comments as always Julio
Cheers

Re: 1.5748 Metres -

Hey Spike!
This is a grand old tune, slightly, (and I mean "slightly"), before my time. Heard the parents and granparents sing or whistle it a few times, and know it from old movies. Definitely a great classic, and definitely played wonderfully!!!
I think you did the right thing on not letting the DSP urge overtake you. The song certainly sounds more original, and is that much better off for the lack of it!
I used to think that guys like us who don't read music, or use editing software were at a disadvantage. Then I listen to some of the stuff we conjur up in our boards and think the only disadvantage might be time, and that's only without editing software! I know you use software from time to time, but it only makes things faster. YOU make it better. Gordon's another example. He does all his editing in the T1. I too do all my editing in the T1 without software, and play it all by ear too. I guess the real music is best when it comes from the heart, regardless of how it got there!
Great job Spike!
P.S.
What, for the sake of someone on this side of the pond, is the EU?

Hi Krazy
Firstly the EU is the European Union - it consists of European Nations brought together by a sequence of lies about it's aims, initially we were told it was to be a "Common Market" but the hidden aim was to combine all the nations of europe under one flag, one government and one leader. A bit like WW2 but without the violence. We have had stupid laws forced on us and it has cost the UK a lot of money and jobs to belong to it without any benefits (whatever the Europhiles like to tell you) . We don't have a say in how our country is run anymore. I don't want to spend too much time on that particular debacle so back to the song.
It was probably a bit before my time too but at least you remembered it, so thanks for listening matey and for your kind comments
Cheers
Spike
