Hi Pam
Just back from a week away in Suffolk at an RAF reunion - yeh I know what you mean, all these new members don't seem to bother do they?
Well it's down to us to keep the flag flying. The beat works well with this and it sets it aside from the normal rendition and very nice it is too. Well thought out Pam.
Cheers
Spike

Hi Pam,

I really enjoyed that -- I assume that was done on your new T3? Great song
and great style choice, too! (I always liked that song, and even more I liked
the TV Series starring Bruce Greenwood, altho the network execs killed it off
before we ever learned the truth of "why" he became the Nowhere Man,
unrecognized even by his own family and friends. A great series that was
never given a chance to find its audience.)

Those of you in the UK must be staring at this with a faraway look -- I don't
think it was ever seen outside the U.S., being on KCOP-TV. Ah, well . . .
think of Patrick McGoohan's 1960's series "The Prisoner" and you'll be right
close. Another favorite of mine.

Anyway, love your T3, Pam -- now how is Yammie ever going to top that
one? LOL

(p.s. As many of you know, Simon's site is closing down. It hasn't had many
visitors lately, but for those of you who remember its Glory Days, it would be
a kind gesture to drop in and wish Simon a Bon Voyage. After all, his site gave
many of us a great deal of fun AND information for 3 or 4 years there. For
those of you who may have lost it, here is the link):

Hi Dave, Thank you very much for the kind comments, No never saw any of the TV shows over here, just know it as a Beatles song. I did visit Simon's site and left a message for him, BTW I put in another song for you, Alabama Jubilee, as I know you like Dixieland, thanks again for listening...Pam

Hi Pam
I really liked this arrangement - nice and upbeat from the original Beatles version.

Recognize Spike's concern re 'new members' not participating. Unfortunately, retirement is not panning out as we planned at the moment with several family issues and activities, some good and some not so good, conspiring to max us out time-wise since early in the year. If I've played a more than ten hours on the keyboard since March I'd be surprised. Hopefully things will change by end of Autumn and we can get our lives back

Cheers
Phil

Nice sounding!

I might consider modulating from one key to another on this one too.... It helps songs that are longer in length not sound repetitive as much ....

Also, I'm still feeling the "musicians" are playing a little to "short", i,e,, playing eigth notes instead of quarter notes.

By the way, this board isn't all that active for ONE reason, and ONE reason only:

Not a whole lot of musicians have this board.... WHY? Ever hear of the "starving musician"?

Who has the money to fork out $4500 for something like this????

Maybe not that much. But I got a brand-new T2 for only $1150
at Guitar Center in the U.S. a few months ago.

You need to catch them when they're clearing out their old
inventory to make way for the new stuff.

Their price was $1500, I asked 'em for their bottom price, it
was $1150 + tax. One sweet deal. Couldn't resist it.
