Default Samantha's Smile - 08-02-2010, 09:39 PM

Here is an instrumental I wrote a couple of days ago. And it didn't take me forever. I've put up some notes in 'behind the music' forum..

Hope you like it..

Hi Mark
Nice composition and thanks for supplying the extra info about making the song.
Listening to the song I can see where you have taken the route you have (and why) although most people listening to this would not be aware that it had to take a lot of work to produce this unless this extra info was there.
Great pro piece of music

Hi Mark,

A fantastic piece this one, first rate.

Some real tasty jazz chords in there. Love the little flourishes such as the guitar harmonics, sweet. The last few bars just before the guitar ending reminded me of Clapton/BB King's Come Rain or Shine mainly due to the great sounding strings and that distinctive guitar sound playing what sounded like lowish octaves. (I'm a real sucker for orchestral strings on jazz/blues tracks).

You've got some great sounds on the T3, and you played all the various solos to perfection.

Impressive stuff.
