Default Earth - 03-06-2010, 08:10 AM

its a oldie, its made several years ago with my old synth's.
a yamaha dx9
roland jv 1080 with four expansions
and a casio 101
and now you can get all the sounds from the late 70/80 synth sounds
on 1 plugin ,"the nexus 2" strange is n't it?
enjoy it

Hi Romeo, This was cleverly done with some lovely voices used, very interesting the way it changed throughout and loved the sounds at the end, one small criticism, a little too long at nearly 8 mins...Pam

Hi Romeo
This is , without doubt, your best composition. Structure was up with Vangelis and JMJ. Too long? not for me although for me there was too much water at the end.
There's something about the sounds that older synths make that the modern ones don't have, I guess it's analogue against digital. Whatever , it was brilliant so thanks for digging it out and sharing it
Cheers
Spike

Thanks Spike for listening and your kind comments
Spike the old synth of the early's day's you have many knob,s ,you can figure out you own sounds the timbre, decay, sinus, wave ,cutoff oscilattor, etc, etc.
there for i like the old mini moog and the korg ms20 and ms10
you can great you own warm sounds with knobs
now the synth's are standaard with sounds and more posibilities and digital with fm or sampled sounds
my go is give us back the old synth's

Romeo,
Some super sounds in here, and I loved the recurring theme melody
The whole piece is very well constructed...must have taken you quite a while
The quiet passage at the end was also very effective....loved the birdies and the river Well done.

Hi Romeo
Very good. I love the atmosphere of the song. It has probably something to do with the sound of the analogue synths Good job
