Hi guys,

I recently made a recomposition for a song from the movie Pirates of the Caribbean. You can listen to it here : Kelexys's Pirates of the Caribbean Soundtrack Remix Opportunity Submission - Indaba Music

there's still a lot of work to do on this song so I was hoping for some feedback from you guys. Which parts you like , which you don't
and if you like the song, maybe you can vote for me

When it's finished, I'll put the song on my youtube channel and post it here

thanks, looking forward to your comments

Kelexys

Hi
I'm assuming this is your submission in a competition for the best interpretation of an existing song - if so then maybe it would be better placed in the covers section (bit of a grey area!)
Anyway I've had a listen and I think you produce a nice sound but the strings seem a bit fuzzy and indistinct but this may well be my sound system. The arrangement is fine and it should do well against some of the others I listened to.
Good luck with it.
Spike

i think the piano needs a bit more resonance or reverb maybe some more sustain.... just for atmosphere,,,,,
