Default Loan Arranger - 30-05-2008, 04:23 PM

Hi Folks
This is one of my originals recorded a couple of years ago which many of you would have heard on SVP. It seems appropriate that I should resurrect it as it's nearly the name of the forum.
Made from a tweaked style on the psr2000 with added tracks
Here's the link to the mp3
4shared.com - online file sharing and storage - download #Loan Arranger.mp3
Hope you like it
Cheers
Spike

Hi Spike

You're probably wondering how the temporary fix I mentioned is working.

If you goto your User CP (top left), or just click on your name wherever you see it, you'll see a tabbed bar. On the right is a right-pointing arrow. Hidden in this section is 'Contact info', and My Threads. If you click on 'my threads' you'll be given the option to click on a link that shows your upload in a new window.

Matt, the programmer, is working on a way to display this more prominently, probably a box, in your user profile, without all the clicking involved at present.

The main thing is, your song is now in the database, so when he's worked his magic, you'll see the song in the correct place. Users clicking on the link will be able to download the song.

This will probably only take a few days, so for anyone else reading this, please carry on uploading as normal, and I'll let you know when the new feature is working.

Cheers

Paul

Sorry, not had a chance to listen to the song, but sounds like a perfect choice. Thanks for kicking off the originals section!

Hey Spike!
I was in the old forum like "forever" and I never heard it either! So what? It's such a nice, lighthearted and cheery song, even if I had heard it I'd listen to it again.
I don't know how you did it but, ...... I noticed a few of them same 'ol chords in there, ... BUT, they didn't sound like same ol' chords! Something about the way you played it, or whatever, breathed new life into it. Must be some of that "Spike Magic", huh? Excellent job my friend. Excellent!!!

Just as a footnote: I couldn't get it to download at first. I tried earlier in the day and now. It kept getting hung up on "3 seconds to go". After about 8 or 9 tries it finally came through. Well worth the wait and effort!

P.S.
Now I'm curious as to the words. You had me humming all kinds of lyrics in my head! LOL!!!

Hi Krazy, yep I think you were on svp longer than most, nice to see you on this site too.
Sorry you had problems downloading (presumably the mp3) 4shared have changed their format and things don't seem to happen as they used to, thanks for persevering and I'm glad it was worth waiting for and thanks for your nice comments too. I'm not into vocals at all so if you'd like to put some words to it be my guest, I'd be pleased to hear them
kind regards
Spike
