Default Release Me - 06-06-2010, 11:21 PM

Hi Folks
I am uploading this only to get some opinion on the vocal effects I have selected. I'm not very good at deciding the best mic settings, effect etc. Although I do vocals when I'm playing at dances I do not class myself a singer, I and need all the help from the T2 effects section.
Apologies for not getting the words right....senior moments I'm afraid.
Kind regards
Andy

Hi Andy, You say you do not regard yourself as a singer, well you should, you have a lovely voice, that was a very nice song...Pam

Hi Pamela
Well now,I'm blushing..... thank you so much for your very kind comments.
People usually only hear me singing at the dances after they have had a drink or two...and then I can get away with murder :-)
Thank you again.
Kind regards
Andy

Andy,
A very nice performance....nothing wrong with the Vocals..rather good in fact. The Echo setting works well with this slow number, but I don't think it would be as successful on an up tempo job. The harmony was very effective

Hi Leo
Thank you very much for your kind comments.
I've got the Mic setting on the Mixing Console on Tempo Delay. Perhaps I should just have it on a Reverb for doing Vocals on this forum.
I think the Delay setting is not too noticeable on a gig. I do gigs on my own, therefore don't have anyone who can give me an idea how it sounds. I suppose the folks must think it's ok as they get up and dance....but then, booze works wonders :-)
Kind regards
Andy

Hi Andy,
You have a very nice voice, but it was a shame that you used the vocal delay.
I think a very simple echo would have been more appropriate and would have complimented your good vocals.
Just my opinion and I hope you are not offended by my comments.
Regards, John

Hi John
Many thanks for your kind words and for giving it a listen. I'm not offended in the least about the "delay". I now realise this is not the ideal setting, although it's one I use on my gigs and it seems to go ok....mind you, the punters have usually had a few drinks, so I can get away with murder

If you're interested, I've posted a few more on YPKO, but that forum will close in a few days.

Thank you again John
Kind regards
Andy

Hot Dog!

A crooner - and a good one at that! And nope - didn't have nothin' ta drink, either, sir!

A very nice toon, Mr. Andy - and certainly very well played.
Nice singin', too, my wife'd give a million bucks for me ta have a singin' voice like that! But, hell, I'm sure good at emptyin' the bar around closin' time - heh heh!

A grand song, Mr. A - and my ears appreciated yr crooning!

Thanks fr the song - real good!

The Scooter

Hi Scooter
Thank you very much for your kind comments. I'm pleased you enjoyed it and I appreciate your taking time to listen
Now, about your wife giving a million bucks to have you sing like this.....how about you telling her this is you singing, and then when she gives the million bucks, you send half to me I wont tell if you dont

Thanks again Scooter.
Kind regards
Andy
