Hello Music lovers

I recorded this song by Chris Rea "Looking for the sun"
style from a multitrack and then with the help of pads

I used the "midi" and then re audio recording

Thank you by advance for your listening

Thumbs up Re: Looking for a summer - Chris Rea - 01-04-2014, 11:54 PM

Hi Andre,

I'm not familiar with Mr Rea's original - though I think I've heard it sometime, somewhere . . .

Nice sounding song with a good intro (my intros need more work!).
Rocks along well with good instrument choices.

Vocal sounds very close-miked? Makes it seem you are (having to) sing quietly . . .

I would try the mike a little further away - and sing out, (more full-voice) which I find is easier to control, i.e. "produce" your voice. (speaking as a singer) . . .

NOT a criticism, but merely a suggestion BTW

Best Regards
