Default PSR E413: Metronome, A -> B problems - 06-06-2010, 06:12 PM

How do I shut off the lead-in count (from the metronome) when doing an A -> B loop?

More detail: I start with a clear User Song (User 1, Song 031). I select a voice (Grand Piano), and enable the Arpeggio. I hold down the "Rec" button and the Track 1 button to enable recording on that track. I play for some number of measures. I push the Stop button. I then enable Track 2. I push play. I hear the first track play back. When I reach the end of track 1, I start playing and recording on Track 2. When I'm done, I push stop. I push Play. Track 1 plays, then Track 2 plays. So far so good. Now, here's where the problem starts. I want to loop both Track 1 and Track 2. With the keyboard stopped (not playing back, in other words), I push the A -> B button. I then push Play. I get a two measure count-in from the metronome and then Track 1/2 plays. Then the metronome count-in repeats and then Track 1/2 repeats. How do I kill the count-in all together with?

Very cool keyboard in most ways. If I could figure this out (with your help!), it would be even cooler.

Thanks for any help!
Ted

Hi Ted
Welcome to the forum. I'm not familiar with this keyboard but if you are able to edit songs could you load your phrase and remove any count in before looping?
Alternatively are you able to switch off the metronome or count-in before recording - maybe use Sync Start.
Maybe someone who has the same keyboard can help.
Cheers
Spike
