Default Saving Tyros Mixer Adustments - 21-01-2013, 09:15 AM

Hi Playmates
I have been playing with the mixer more recently to adjust volume levels mainly. Is there an easy way to save this information so that next time I pull up the midi file the last mixer session is already there
Many thanks
Barry

Hi Barry
Assuming you are talking about mixing a song. When you have got the mix to your satisfaction through the Mixing Console WITHOUT LEAVING THE MIXING CONSOLE go to Digital Recording/Song Creator. Tab to [Channel], using [Button B] scroll down to SET UP. Check that all the relevant boxes are ticked and Press [Execute]. Then SAVE.
When you reload that midi the mix is also reloaded.
Cheers
Spike

Hi Barry,

There is one more note: The advice Spike gave applies to the s-700 - s-950 also, so some of the "tricks" with them may also apply to the Tyros.

When you are at the page Spike mentioned, watch that:

1) You are at the beginning of the song when you press "EXECUTE" to save your settings, otherwise the "EXECUTE" function is not available (greyed out).
2) Sometimes (if "EXECUTE" is available at other sections of the song), your settings will only take place where you saved it. (I ran into this with my s-700.)

Hi Pat and Spike
Many thanks for your invaluable information both of you. That is the sort of information that is difficult to get hold of.
My poor old brain nowadays only holds information on what keys to press.
That is of course if I don't nod off in the middle of a session, head slumps forward and I reprogram the damn thing. I then get the Eric Morecambe Slogan "Get Out Of That! You Can't Can You?"
Many thanks Guys
Barry
