I don't think you can Jacko. Tyros voices have an extension of .vce , .tvn or .uvn.
Where do these files originate?

Spike

Hi Jacko
Try the Tyros 4 reference manual page 17 - it concerns .wav files as voices.

hi spike
tried it but no joy,it would appear the CWN extension is the problem as i found on the net the extension is a bit weird its not poss to change it.But there must be some way of using the files as i think darren made them to go with his style for highland cathedral which is superb

Hi Jacko
I wonder if it's worth playing that file somehow and recording it as a .wav then loading that as a custom file (either .wav or .aif).
Possibly send me a copy of that .cwn file and I'll see if I can do it.
Regards
Spike

Hi Jacko
Sorry I couldn't solve the problem - I probably could if you'd been able to send me the file for me to produce a .wav file from it.
Any other problems - just shout
Regards
Spike

if you are still looking for bagpipes then i have the ones ceated by Francisco Massa that i can send you a link for.. i found that the voice on it's on is good for a single pipe and if you layer a second pipe on the second voice and just slightly de-tune it then a great pipe band sound is made.. let me know...

Hi Ed
Thanks for the offer - yes please send a link. I can compare it with the one I made using the same method but I did it on my Montage. The voice is ok on its own but for an authentic sound the drone has to be present which I was able to do with the Montage. Trouble is that voice is only ok for the Montage unless you sample it and install it on another keyboard.
Regards
Spike
